12 Common Mistakes English Speakers Make When Speaking Spanish

Cometer errores forma parte tanto del procedimiento del aprendizaje de la lengua española como de cualquier otro idioma.

Algunos de estos errores son inevitables, como por ejemplo, la confusión entre los verbos “ser y estar” y, otros errores harán reír a tus amigos españoles, como por ejemplo “estoy caliente” en lugar de decir “tengo calor”.

Como aprendiz de la lengua inglesa,  te aconsejo que no te preocupes ni te avergüences si cometes errores. Piensa que cometer errores es la parte divertida de aprender un idioma y, como bien sabes, debes aprender de ellos. 

Aquí están los 12 errores más comunes que los los angloparlantes comenten es español:

Some of these errors are inevitable, for example, the confusion between the verbs “ser y estar“, and other errors will make your Spanish friends laugh, like for example “Estoy caliente” (que español means “I´m hot”) instead of saying “Tengo calor“

As an English as a second language learner, I advise you not to worry or be ashamed if you make mistakes. Think that making mistakes is the fun part of learning a language and, as you well know, you should learn from them.

Recuerda que sólo hay dos formas de evitar estos errores, una: repetir y dos: practicar. Te pongo un ejemplo, di cien veces en voz alta “la gente es ”, así no se te olvidará 😉
